The Sun is in Scorpio from October 23-November 22. The guiding principle of Scorpio is “I desire.” Scorpio is the sign of depth, intimacy, and extremes of feeling. Superficiality simply will not do with the Sun in Scorpio–we want to get to the bottom of matters. Mediocrity does not satisfy either. All that is hidden, taboo, secret, or suppressed interests us. In Libra, we strived towards equality and fairness. Scorpio, however, instinctively believes that life simply isn’t fair.
Scorpio’s energy is provocative, usually in a quiet way, as well as passionate, strong-willed, and intense. It can be an immensely healing and transformative energy. Jealousy, vindictiveness, beating a dead horse, and manipulative are some of the more negative expressions of Scorpio.
We are more likely to prosper through strategy and knowing the value of keeping some things to ourselves at the right times. Efforts to repurpose, recycle, salvage, and transform can be successful. We’re especially successful at organizing, researching, investigating, and analyzing.

When the Moon is in Aquarius

Jardiner avec la Lune
Les influences lunaires
Bien que nous ne réalisions pas toujours son ampleur, la Lune exerce une puissante influence sur la Terre. L’exemple le plus spectaculaire reste le phénomène des marées. Ce sont en effet des milliards de mètres cubes d’eau qui se déplacent quotidiennement sous la seule influence de la Lune. Les scientifiques ont d’ailleurs constaté que le phénomène des marées ne se limitait pas seulement aux masses océaniques mais agissait également sur la croûte terrestre. Celle-ci pouvant s’élever de plusieurs dizaines de centimètres lors de l’effet de marée montant.
Si l’effet semble moins visible, la Lune exerce toutefois une influence sur les êtres vivants également. Les végétaux, les animaux ainsi que les êtres humains sont eux aussi sujets aux rythmes lunaires. Les plantes et les animaux sont les plus sensibles et les plus réceptifs à l’influence des différents cycles lunaires, il est d’ailleurs possible de le vérifier en réalisant des essais comparatifs. L’être humain quant à lui ne se rend pas toujours compte des effets de la Lune sur son quotidien. Notre vie moderne a en effet peu à peu atténué notre sensibilité aux cycles naturels. Mais si nous semblons moins réceptifs aux mouvements lunaires, leur influence reste active et agit également sur de nombreux domaines nous concernant.
La Lune au jardin
Tout au long de leur développement, les plantes sont naturellement sujettes aux cycles lunaires et planétaires. Dans le milieu naturel, elles s’accordent spontanément à ces différents cycles qui participent à leur environnement et viennent s’ajouter aux autres éléments essentiels à leur développement.
Dans les milieux recréés que sont nos jardins, le fait que nous décidions où et quand semer une plante fait que nous intervenons dans son processus naturel de développement. Bien que nous ne dénaturions pas réellement ce processus, nous interférons cependant sur le rythme de croissance de la plante. Ce dernier sera naturellement différent du rythme de croissance d’une plante se développant de manière spontanée.
Il est possible de stimuler la croissance d’une plante en prenant en compte les influences lunaires et planétaires lors des principales étapes de son développement (semis, repiquage, entretien). Une graine se développera différemment suivant le type de constellation (Fruits, Racines, Fleurs, Feuilles) lors de laquelle elle est semée. Lors de sa croissance, la plante se polarisera davantage sur la partie en relation avec la constellation. Une salade développera ainsi davantage sa partie foliaire si elle est semée en constellation Feuilles. En revanche, semée en constellation fleur, une salade se focalisera sur la production de semences et montera donc plus rapidement en graines. De même, pour une meilleure production, il préférable de semer les carottes lors d’une constellation Racines, de manière à ce que la plante privilégie cette partie lors de son développement. Dans cette optique, il devient donc intéressant de semer une plante en accord avec le type de constellation devant laquelle passera la Lune au moment du semis.
Mais les types de constellations ne sont pas les seuls facteurs déterminants et d’autres paramètres comme par exemple le cycle de la lune croissante/décroissante, montante/descendante, les nœuds lunaires, le périgée, les aspects planétaires, exercent également une tendance positive ou négative suivant les cas. Il est donc primordial de considérer l’ensemble de tous ces différents éléments et d’en faire la synthèse pour savoir si un moment donné est plus ou moins favorable voire défavorable pour semer une plante.

When do retrogrades occur, and in what sign? The following tables and images show the planets and bodies (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) and their astrological retrograde cycles by date and sign, from retrograde to direct.
A station is defined from the point of view of the Earth; it is the point when a planet appears to stop moving in the sky. The planet then appears to move slowly in the opposite direction; at this point, the planet is considered Stationary Retrograde. Similarly, once the planet makes a Station (stops) and begins to go forward again, this is called Stationary Direct.
The following shows current and upcoming Retrograde cycles of the planets. Note that the Sun and the Moon never retrograde. Dates given reveal not only the Retrograde periods, but also the Retrograde zones or shadows.

L'offensive de Poutine en Ukraine entame son neuvième mois
Moscou (AFP) - Moscou avançait vendredi avec un retrait civil de la région de Kherson occupée par la Russie au milieu d'une contre-offensive ukrainienne croissante, le président Vladimir Poutine déclarant que les habitants devaient être "retirés" des zones dangereuses.
L'armée russe a déclaré que "plus de 5 000 civils" traversaient chaque jour le fleuve Dnipro, montrant des images de soldats dirigeant des files de voitures vers des flottilles traversant la rive est du fleuve.
Les forces de Moscou ont commencé à exhorter les civils à quitter Kherson à la mi-octobre, promettant de transformer la principale ville du même nom de la région en une forteresse avant une offensive ukrainienne anticipée.
Kyiv a comparé les départs à des «déportations» de style soviétique de son peuple.
"Ceux qui vivent à Kherson devraient être éloignés des zones de combats dangereux", a déclaré Poutine sur la Place Rouge alors qu'il marquait la Journée de l'unité russe, une fête patriotique.
"La population civile ne devrait pas souffrir de bombardements, d'une offensive, d'une contre-offensive ou d'autres choses de ce genre", a-t-il déclaré.
Exportations de céréales ukrainiennes
Les pays occidentaux, quant à eux, ont exhorté Poutine à prolonger un accord historique pour l'exportation de céréales ukrainiennes afin d'éviter une crise alimentaire mondiale, qui doit être renouvelée le 19 novembre.
La Russie a rejoint mercredi l'accord négocié par l'ONU, après avoir suspendu sa participation pendant quatre jours à la suite d'une attaque de drones contre sa flotte de la mer Noire en Crimée annexée par la Russie, mais a menacé de se retirer à nouveau.
Lors d'une visite en Chine, le chancelier allemand Olaf Scholz a exhorté Poutine à prolonger l'accord.
« La faim ne doit pas être utilisée comme une arme », a-t-il déclaré.
"J'exhorte le président russe à ne pas refuser de prolonger l'accord céréalier qui se termine dans quelques jours."
Il a demandé au Chinois Xi Jinping – qui entretient de bonnes relations avec Poutine – d'utiliser « l'influence » de Pékin sur Moscou pour arrêter les combats en Ukraine.

"La guerre russe en Ukraine est une situation dangereuse pour le monde entier", a déclaré Scholz.
Le groupe des pays riches du G7 a également déclaré qu'il souhaitait que la Russie prolonge l'accord qui permet le passage en toute sécurité des expéditions de céréales en provenance d'Ukraine.

Paris (AFP) - L'Assemblée nationale française a voté vendredi pour sanctionner un député d'extrême droite d'une rare suspension de 15 jours et d'une réduction de salaire après avoir crié "retour en Afrique" à un collègue noir, un affrontement qui a suscité l'indignation dans tout le spectre politique.
Grégoire de Fournas, un membre nouvellement élu du Rassemblement national, a nié toute attaque raciste personnelle dans l'explosion, affirmant qu'il faisait référence à un navire transportant des migrants secourus en Méditerranée.
La sanction préconisée par le conseil de la chambre basse de l'Assemblée nationale est la plus sévère possible en vertu de ses règles, qui respectent largement la liberté d'expression des députés pendant la session.
Ce n'était que la deuxième fois dans l'histoire de la Ve République française, instaurée par Charles de Gaulle en 1958, qu'un député recevait un tel reproche.
L'incident est survenu alors que le gouvernement du président Emmanuel Macron promet une nouvelle répression de l'immigration au milieu d'accusations de ne pas avoir réussi à endiguer les nouveaux arrivants ou à expulser ceux dont les demandes de résidence sont refusées.
Carlos Martens Bilongo du parti de gauche La France insoumise (LFI) interpellait jeudi le gouvernement sur la demande de l'ONG SOS Méditerranée d'une aide de Paris pour trouver un port pour le navire qui a secouru 234 migrants en mer ces derniers jours.
"Il devrait retourner en Afrique !" interrompit Grégoire de Fournas, nouvellement élu député du Rassemblement national (RN) d'extrême droite anti-immigration.
Mais en français, la prononciation est la même pour les pronoms "ça" et "il", ce qui suggère que de Fournas visait directement Bilongo.
Le RN est le parti de la leader d'extrême droite Marine Le Pen, qui a soutenu sa députée sur Twitter en affirmant que "la polémique créée par nos adversaires politiques est évidente et ne trompera pas les Français".
Le Pen a défié le président Emmanuel Macron lors du vote présidentiel de cette année, puis a mené son parti à sa meilleure performance lors des élections législatives suivantes, avec 89 députés.
Le parti a été fondé par son père Jean-Marie Le Pen mais sa fille affirme avoir remanié l'ancien Front national en une force dominante. Les critiques soutiennent que les changements ne sont que cosmétiques et qu'ils restent intrinsèquement racistes.
