On Sunday evening, the First Quarter Moon is exact, when the Sun in Libra forms a square with the Moon in Capricorn.
There is a crisis theme surrounding any quarter Moon phase, as we feel compelled to take action. Shortly after, we are made aware of how our actions affect those close to us, perhaps through trial and error. Whatever project or initiative we began around the New Moon is now off the ground, and it may face its first obstacles.

- Pour une repousse lente et pour améliorer la structure du gazon, tondre la pelouse les 17, 18, 19, 23 ou 24. Les 18 et 19 sont également deux excellents jours pour semer du gazon.
- Pour une meilleure choucroute, récolter les choux et réaliser la choucroute les 3, 4 (matin seulement), 5, 6 (matin seulement), 12, 13, 14, ou mieux les 30 et 31.
La viniculture et la Lune
- Soutirer le vin par exemple entre le 3 et le 9 pour ne pas arrêter son activité (évitez toutefois le 4 après-midi ainsi que le 8).
Pour une bière en phase avec la Lune
- Commencer la fabrication le 1er, le 27 ou le 28, ce seront les meilleures dates du mois.
Pour les arbres
- Afin d’éviter les attaques de parasites et les risques de pourriture et afin d’éviter que le bois ne travaille trop et qu’il n’éclate, abattre les bois d’œuvre entre le 16 et le 25.
Les animaux et la Lune
- Rentrer les animaux le 20 après-midi, le 21 ou le 22 matin. L’étable restera plus sèche et plus saine pendant l’hiver.
Notre bien être avec la Lune
- Pour des cheveux plus épais et plus solides choisir la période entre le 18 et le 22 matin pour les couper (éviter toutefois le 19 après-midi et le 20 matin).

Cet ouvrage d’éphémérides est destiné aux astronomes, aux enseignants et aux étudiants.
Le cœur de cet ouvrage présente, pour l’année en cours, les éphémérides tabulées du Temps sidéral, des variables liées aux nouveaux paradigmes de l’Union astronomique internationale sur les systèmes de référence et les coordonnées du Soleil, de la Lune et des planètes, de Pluton, Cérès, Pallas, Junon et Vesta ; il fournit également les quantités nécessaires au calcul des positions des satellites de Mars, des satellites galiléens de Jupiter, des huit premiers satellites de Saturne et des cinq principaux satellites d’Uranus.
Un chapitre explicatif fournit les informations théoriques permettant de faire les calculs par soi-même ou d’utiliser le logiciel accompagnant l’ouvrage.
Ce volume est le 344e d’une éphéméride créée en 1679 qui a paru sans interruption depuis sa création. Ancienne par sa conception, mais toujours moderne dans sa réalisation, la version actuelle s’appuie sur une partie des récents développements méthodologiques menés à l’IMCCE.

De Ptolémée (né vers 90 après J.-C. à Ptolémaïs d’Hermias, dans la Thébaïde d’Égypte, mort à Canope vers 170), on ne retient souvent que le système astronomique qui fait de la Terre le centre de l’Univers. Et pourtant, cinq siècles avant lui, Aristarque de Samos avait émis l’hypothèse que la terre tournait sur elle-même autour du soleil.
Mais Ptolémée est d’abord un mathématicien. Les pages de sa Syntaxe mathématique, plus connue sous le nom d’Almageste (Le grand traité), reprennent partie les données et observations d’un autre astronome alexandrin, Hipparque de Nicée. Dans son Traité d’astrologie, Claude Ptolémée nous transmet le résultat de plus de sept siècles de science grecque.
Le Tetrabiblos fut l’ouvrage le plus célèbre de l’Antiquité. Il exerça et exerce encore une grande influence dans l’étude des corps célestes de la sphère sublunaire.

When do retrogrades occur, and in what sign? The following tables and images show the planets and bodies (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) and their astrological retrograde cycles by date and sign, from retrograde to direct.
A station is defined from the point of view of the Earth; it is the point when a planet appears to stop moving in the sky. The planet then appears to move slowly in the opposite direction; at this point, the planet is considered Stationary Retrograde. Similarly, once the planet makes a Station (stops) and begins to go forward again, this is called Stationary Direct.
The following shows current and upcoming Retrograde cycles of the planets. Note that the Sun and the Moon never retrograde. Dates given reveal not only the Retrograde periods, but also the Retrograde zones or shadows.

Birmingham (Royaume-Uni) (AFP) - La Première ministre britannique Liz Truss a concédé dimanche qu'elle aurait dû mieux préparer la Grande-Bretagne à son récent mini-budget axé sur la dette, qui a réduit les impôts et déclenché des turbulences sur les marchés, alors que ses conservateurs au pouvoir agitent le coup d'envoi de leur rapport annuel conférence.
Moins d'un mois après le début de son travail mais déjà embourbé dans une crise profonde, le nouveau chef conservateur a insisté sur le fait que les plans controversés ramèneraient la Grande-Bretagne à la croissance économique, alors qu'elle est aux prises avec une inflation élevée depuis des décennies et une récession imminente.
Alors que les fidèles du parti conservateur se réunissaient pendant quatre jours à Birmingham, Truss a également cherché à rassurer les critiques sur le fait qu'elle réduirait les emprunts supplémentaires du gouvernement destinés à financer les réductions d'impôts pour les plus riches.

"Je maintiens le paquet que nous avons annoncé … mais j'accepte que nous aurions dû mieux préparer le terrain là-bas", a déclaré Truss à la BBC lors de sa première apparition télévisée en direct depuis le dévoilement des propositions litigieuses le 23 septembre.
"Nous avons un plan clair pour aller de l'avant à la fois pour faire face à la crise énergétique et pour faire face à l'inflation, mais aussi pour faire croître l'économie", a-t-elle ajouté, tout en promettant de réduire la dette publique "à moyen terme".
- 'Sous un bus' -
Les partis d'opposition, une grande partie du public et même les députés conservateurs – notamment les partisans de son rival à la direction vaincu Rishi Sunak – sont consternés par le mini-budget annoncé par le ministre des Finances Kwasi Kwarteng.

Il est allé plus loin que beaucoup ne l'avaient prévu, abolissant le taux maximal d'impôt sur le revenu et levant le plafond des bonus des banquiers.
Les marchés se sont effondrés en réponse et la Banque d'Angleterre a organisé une intervention d'urgence pour renflouer les fonds de pension en difficulté, ouvrant la voie à une conférence annuelle probablement agitée.
Truss a révélé dimanche qu'elle n'avait pas discuté de la suppression du taux d'imposition de 45% des hauts revenus avec son cabinet et a semblé se distancier de cette décision politiquement toxique en affirmant que "c'était une décision prise par la chancelière".
Cela a provoqué une réprimande immédiate de l'ancienne alliée de la députée conservatrice Nadine Dorries, qui l'a accusée d'avoir «jeté (Kwarteng) sous un bus le premier jour de la conférence».
Apparaissant sur la BBC immédiatement après Truss, le législateur conservateur Michael Gove était l'un des nombreux conservateurs à s'alarmer de ces plans.
Il les a qualifiés de "profondément" problématiques et a déclaré qu'il faudrait "une correction de trajectoire".
- Déroute des sondages -
Les rapports suggèrent que certains députés conservateurs pourraient se joindre aux tentatives des partis d'opposition de bloquer certains aspects du mini-budget au parlement.

Pendant ce temps, les inquiétudes grandissent quant à un retour aux mesures d'austérité du gouvernement, après que le ministre du cabinet Simon Clarke a mis en garde samedi contre le "très grand État-providence" et la nécessité de "couper le gras".
Les critiques soutiennent que Truss – élu chef par seulement 81 000 membres du parti après la course à la direction qui a duré tout l'été – n'a pas le mandat de réimposer le type de coupes radicales observées sous le gouvernement de coalition dirigé par les conservateurs de 2010-2015.
Pendant la campagne, la femme de 47 ans a insisté sur le fait qu'elle "ne prévoyait pas de réduction des dépenses publiques", mais n'a pas réitéré cette position dimanche.
Une série de sondages ont trouvé Truss et son programme économique profondément impopulaires, ainsi que des notes en chute libre pour les conservateurs.
Certaines enquêtes ont montré que le Parti travailliste avait une avance gigantesque allant jusqu'à 33 points – sa plus grande depuis l'apogée de son ancien Premier ministre Tony Blair à la fin des années 1990.
Faisant écho à Blair, le leader travailliste Keir Starmer insiste sur le fait que son parti représente désormais les électeurs britanniques traditionnels.
Truss pourrait au moins être soulagé des informations selon lesquelles Sunak et l'ancien Premier ministre Boris Johnson resteront à l'écart de Birmingham.
- 'Décadence' -
Mais de nombreuses critiques subsistent.
Des centaines de manifestants en colère contre la gestion par le gouvernement de l'aggravation de la crise du coût de la vie se sont massés à Birmingham dimanche, après des manifestations de masse à Londres et ailleurs la veille.

"Je suis ici parce que c'est le pire gouvernement que nous ayons eu de ma vie - et j'ai presque 73 ans", a déclaré à l'AFP l'enseignante à la retraite Jane Scott lors de la manifestation sur la place Victoria.
Alors que diverses industries organisent des grèves à l'échelle nationale cette année, le dirigeant du syndicat des chemins de fer Mick Lynch s'est joint au rassemblement, qualifiant la situation de "lutte de classe".
« Nous avons vu la décadence et la corruption de la classe dirigeante dans ce pays », a-t-il déclaré aux participants en scandant « Taxez les riches, pas les pauvres. Nous n'en prendrons plus » et brandissant des pancartes « Tories out ».
À l'intérieur de la conférence, le programme a été réduit pour éliminer certaines de ses fêtes marginales après la mort le 8 septembre de la reine Elizabeth II - qui a nommé Truss seulement deux jours avant sa mort.
Kwarteng doit s'adresser au rez-de-chaussée lundi, avant que Truss ne le ferme avec le discours d'ouverture du chef mercredi.
