The Sun is in Capricorn from December 21, 2021-January 19, 2022. With the Sun in Capricorn, we are motivated by feelings of responsibility, ambition, and respect for law and order. Capricorn derives much satisfaction in completion and accomplishment. Standards, structures, and an appreciation for order are Capricorn themes.
Capricorn wants tangible results, knows what is feasible and what is not, and is most comfortable working within an established framework and known boundaries or limits. Working towards a long-term goal is most satisfying with this influence.
The Sun is in Aquarius from January 19-February 18. During this cycle, we are motivated by our hunger for knowledge, experience, and originality. Innovation is more important to us than convention. We become more aware of what is outdated in our lives, and strive to find new perspectives and new ways to do things. The class distinctions, structure, and order that Capricorn finds appealing now seem to be too rigid. The freedom of the individual becomes far more significant to us.

Because so many of you requested it, from now on this website will provide you with two full weeks of the Magi Society Cosmic Weather Forecasts.
The Cosmic Weather Forecast informs you which are the best and worst hours of each day to natalize anything important, such as starting a new account online or paying a bill or making any purchase, or going out on a first date or sharing an especially romantic evening with someone special.
We launched our Cosmic Weather about six months ago but we provided the Cosmic Weather for only three days (today, tomorrow and yesterday).
Beginning today, this website also gives you the Cosmic Weather Preview for two weeks, at least one of which is in advance.

Here is how to use the Comic Weather Preview like the one shown above:
Each preview has two rows – each row has seven sets of “4squares” – a 4square is a square divided into four “smallsquares” and each smallsquare represents a quarter of a day, or six hours of a day.
Below is an example of how to interpret the data in the 4squares. Our example will be the 4square that is labeled “02/02-Sun” in the above example of a Preview – here is how to interpret that 4square, which we isolate for you below:
The -11 in the upper right smallsquare means that the average Cosmic Weather during the six hours between midnight and 6 AM was -11.
The -6 in the lower right smallsquare means that the average Cosmic Weather during the six hours between 6 AM and noon was -6.
The -11 in the lower left smallsquare means that the average Cosmic Weather during the six hours between noon and six PM was -11.
The -8 in the upper left smallsquare means that the average Cosmic Weather during the six hours between 6 PM and midnight was -8.

You can see that from February 2 through February 12, there was not a single quarter-day that was green – almost every quarter-day had very bad stars.
Those ten days were the days when the Covid-19 virus spread all around the world. Tens of thousands of harmful natalizations of the deadly virus occurred during those days.
But take heart because the Cosmic Weather has been better the last week and for a few more days because these days are almost all green and they will help humankind to have better natalizations and, God willing, a turn in the tide.

US, Russia promise to work to ease Ukraine tensions in high-stakes talks

Geneva (AFP) - Washington and Moscow’s top diplomats agreed Friday to keep working to ease tensions over Ukraine, with the United States promising a written response to Russian security demands and not ruling out a presidential meeting.
As fears grow that Russia could invade its pro-Western neighbour, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken renewed warnings of severe Western reprisals as he met for 90 minutes with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Geneva.
But Blinken described the high-stakes talks as “frank” and not “polemical”, with Lavrov also voicing hope for a lowering of the temperature between the former Cold War foes.
Russia has massed tens of thousands of troops on the Ukrainian border, denying it plans to invade but demanding security guarantees, including a permanent ban on the country joining NATO.
Blinken said that Washington will share written ideas with Russia next week in which it will also make clear its own positions.

“We didn’t expect any major breakthroughs to happen today, but I believe we are now on a clear path in terms of understanding each other’s concerns and each other’s positions,” Blinken told reporters.
“We anticipate that we will be able to share with Russia our concerns and ideas in more detail in writing next week and we agreed to further discussions after that,” he added.
Speaking separately to reporters, Lavrov also said he was promised the written responses next week.
“Antony Blinken agreed that we need to have a reasonable dialogue, and I hope emotions will decrease,” he said.
“I cannot say whether or not we are on the right track. We will know when we get an answer.”

He added that another meeting could be held between the two, but that it was “premature” to start talking about another summit between Presidents Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin, who met in Geneva last June.
Blinken, however, did not rule out fresh talks between the presidents after Biden twice warned Putin by telephone of consequences for any Ukraine invasion.
“If we conclude (and) the Russians conclude that the best way to resolve things is through a further conversation between them, we’re certainly prepared to do that,” Blinken said.
Biden bluntly assessed on Wednesday that Putin is likely to “move in” on Ukraine and warned of a “disaster for Russia”.

Russia, which already fuels a deadly insurgency in eastern Ukraine that has killed more than 13,000 people since 2014, has demanded guarantees that NATO never admit the former Soviet republic or expand otherwise in Moscow’s old sphere.
The United States has declared the idea a “non-starter” and accused Russia of undermining Europe’s post-Cold War order by bullying another country into submission.
Russia on Friday reiterated demands for the “withdrawal of foreign forces, hardware and arms” from countries that were not NATO members before 1997, this time singling out Bulgaria and Romania, two former Warsaw Pact countries that joined NATO in 2004.
Romania’s foreign ministry quickly hit back, saying the demand “is unacceptable and cannot be part of a negotiation”.
Blinken headed to Geneva after a solidarity trip to Kyiv and talks with Britain, France and Germany in Berlin.

Even while rejecting the core Russian demands, the Biden administration has said it is willing to speak to Moscow about its security concerns.
One proposal by the United States is to revive restrictions on missiles in Europe that had been set by the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, a Cold War deal trashed by former president Donald Trump’s administration as it accused Moscow of violations.

Lawmakers in Russia’s parliament have presented a bill that would ask Putin to recognise the independence of two pro-Moscow separatist territories in Ukraine, Donetsk and Lugansk.
Lower house speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said Friday that such a move – sure to enrage Ukraine and prompt Western condemnation – would be “a solution to provide for the security of our citizens and countrymen” in the two regions.
Ukraine’s military intelligence service on Friday accused Russia of sending fresh arms and equipment to the rebels since the start of this month, including tanks, artillery and ammunition.

Air strike on Yemen prison leaves more than 200 dead or wounded

Saada (Yemen) (AFP) - More than 200 people were killed or wounded in an air strike on a prison and at least three children died in a separate bombardment as Yemen’s long-running conflict suffered a dramatic escalation of violence on Friday.
The Huthi rebels released gruesome video footage showing bodies in the rubble and mangled corpses from the prison attack, which levelled buildings at the jail in their northern heartland of Saada.
Further south in the port town of Hodeida, the children died when air strikes by the Saudi-led coalition hit a telecommunications facility as they played nearby, Save the Children said. Yemen also suffered a country-wide internet blackout.
“The children were reportedly playing on a nearby football field when missiles struck,” Save the Children said.

The attacks come after the Huthis took the seven-year war into a new phase by claiming a drone-and-missile attack on Abu Dhabi that killed three people on Monday.
The United Arab Emirates, part of the Saudi-led coalition fighting the rebels, threatened reprisals.
Aid workers said hospitals were overwhelmed in Saada after the prison attack, with one receiving 70 dead and 138 wounded, according to Doctors Without Borders.
Two other hospitals have received “many wounded” and as night fell, the rubble was still being searched, the aid agency said.

Ahmed Mahat, Doctors Without Borders’ head of mission in Yemen, said: “There are many bodies still at the scene of the air strike, many missing people.”
“It is impossible to know how many people have been killed. It seems to have been a horrific act of violence.”

The UN Security Council, meeting Friday at the request of non-permanent member the United Arab Emirates, unanimously condemned what it called the Huthis’ “heinous terrorist attacks in Abu Dhabi… as well as in other sites in Saudi Arabia”.
The UAE is part of the Saudi-led coalition that has been fighting the rebels since 2015, in an intractable conflict that has displaced millions of Yemenis and left them on the brink of famine.
The coalition claimed the attack in Hodeida, a lifeline port for the shattered country, but did not say it had carried out any strikes on Saada.
Saudi Arabia’s state news agency said the coalition carried out “precision air strikes… to destroy the capabilities of the Huthi militia in Hodeida”.
- ‘Collapse of internet’ -
Global internet watchdog NetBlocks reported a “nation-scale collapse of internet connectivity”. AFP correspondents in Hodeida and Sanaa confirmed the outage. Save the Children said it would hamper its operating capacity.
Yemen’s civil war began in 2014 when the Huthis descended from their base in Saada to overrun the capital Sanaa, prompting Saudi-led forces to intervene to prop up the government the following year.
Tensions have soared in recent weeks after the UAE-backed Giants Brigade drove the rebels out of Shabwa province, undermining their months-long campaign to take the key city of Marib further north.
On January 3, the Huthis hijacked a United Arab Emirates-flagged ship in the Red Sea, prompting a warning from the coalition that it would target rebel-held ports.
And on Monday, they claimed a long-range attack that struck oil facilities and the airport in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, killing two Indians and a Pakistani, and wounding six other people.
The attack – the first deadly assault acknowledged by the UAE inside its borders and claimed by the Huthis – opened up a new front in Yemen’s war and sent regional tensions soaring.
In retaliation, the coalition carried out air strikes against rebel-held Sanaa that killed 14 people.
Yemen’s civil war has been a catastrophe for millions of its citizens who have fled their homes, with many close to famine in what the UN calls the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.

The UN has estimated the war killed 377,000 people by the end of 2021, both directly and indirectly through hunger and disease.
UAE presidential adviser Anwar Gargash warned the country would exercise its right to defend itself after the Abu Dhabi attack.
“The Emirates have the legal and moral right to defend their lands, population and sovereignty, and will exercise this right to defend themselves and prevent terrorist acts pursued by the Huthi group,” he told US special envoy Hans Grundberg, according to the official WAM news agency.
