Mercury’s sextile to Chiron this morning can help open up healthy dialogues. We are approaching problems holistically, and problem-solving skills are high. However, a Mars-Uranus minor challenging aspect can leave us on edge. We may be itching for a change but not entirely sure where to start. Of course, this can get us into a bit of trouble if we’re not mindful. On Monday evening, a Full Moon occurs when the Sun in Capricorn exactly opposes the Moon in Cancer. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of what we started at the New Moon. It is an emotional time – a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships.
The Cancer-Capricorn polarity deals with the balance between the private life, domesticity, the need for a home base, and nurturance (represented by Cancer) versus the public life, career, reputation, and accountability (represented by Capricorn).
Attachments and love are ruled by Cancer, while achievements and rewards/punishments are ruled by Capricorn. In some ways, this polarity deals with the balance between unconditional love and conditional love. The Sun is in Capricorn from December 21, 2021-January 19, 2022. With the Sun in Capricorn, we are motivated by feelings of responsibility, ambition, and respect for law and order. Capricorn wants tangible results, knows what is feasible and what is not, and is most comfortable working within an established framework and known boundaries or limits. Working towards a long-term goal is most satisfying with this influence.

Because so many of you requested it, from now on this website will provide you with two full weeks of the Magi Society Cosmic Weather Forecasts.
The Cosmic Weather Forecast informs you which are the best and worst hours of each day to natalize anything important, such as starting a new account online or paying a bill or making any purchase, or going out on a first date or sharing an especially romantic evening with someone special.
We launched our Cosmic Weather about six months ago but we provided the Cosmic Weather for only three days (today, tomorrow and yesterday).
Beginning today, this website also gives you the Cosmic Weather Preview for two weeks, at least one of which is in advance.

The Cosmic Weather Preview like the one above will appear on the home page immediately below the three wheels of the Cosmic Weather Forecast that you have become used to seeing at the top of our home page.
Here is how to use the Comic Weather Preview like the one shown above:
Each preview has two rows – each row has seven sets of “4squares” – a 4square is a square divided into four “smallsquares” and each smallsquare represents a quarter of a day, or six hours of a day.
Below is an example of how to interpret the data in the 4squares. Our example will be the 4square that is labeled “02/02-Sun” in the above example of a Preview – here is how to interpret that 4square, which we isolate for you below:
The -11 in the upper right smallsquare means that the average Cosmic Weather during the six hours between midnight and 6 AM was -11.
The -6 in the lower right smallsquare means that the average Cosmic Weather during the six hours between 6 AM and noon was -6.
The -11 in the lower left smallsquare means that the average Cosmic Weather during the six hours between noon and six PM was -11.
The -8 in the upper left smallsquare means that the average Cosmic Weather during the six hours between 6 PM and midnight was -8.

You can see that from February 2 through February 12, there was not a single quarter-day that was green – almost every quarter-day had very bad stars.
Those ten days were the days when the Covid-19 virus spread all around the world. Tens of thousands of harmful natalizations of the deadly virus occurred during those days.
But take heart because the Cosmic Weather has been better the last week and for a few more days because these days are almost all green and they will help humankind to have better natalizations and, God willing, a turn in the tide.

Ce volume est le 344e d’une éphéméride créée en 1679 qui a paru sans interruption depuis sa création. Ancienne par sa conception, mais toujours moderne dans sa réalisation, la version actuelle s’appuie sur une partie des récents développements méthodologiques menés à l’IMCCE.

Images reveal devastation in tsunami-hit Tonga

Tonga has been virtually cut off from the rest of the world since Saturday's volcanic blast
Wellington (AFP) - A volcano that exploded on the Pacific island nation of Tonga has almost disappeared from view, new images revealed Tuesday, with swathes of the country smothered in grey dust or damaged by a tsunami.
The volcano erupted 30 kilometres (about 19 miles) into the air on Saturday and deposited ash, gas and acid rain across a large area of the Pacific.
New Zealand said two people have been confirmed killed, citing Tonga police on the island.
Three days after the eruption, the outside world is still struggling to understand the scale of the disaster using patchy satellite phone connections, surveillance flights and satellite images.
While power and local phone systems had been partially restored, international communications remain severed.
But the World Health Organization said in a statement Tuesday that its liaison officer in Tonga, Dr Yutaro Setoya, was “channeling communication between UN agencies and the Tongan government”.
“With international phone lines and internet connectivity still down, Dr Setoya’s satellite phone is one of the few ways to get information,” it said.
The officer has “literally been standing outside from dawn until long into the night for the past few days to ensure that the phone can reach the satellite signal,” said WHO’s Health Cluster Coordinator for the Pacific, Sean Casey.
The UN health agency said around 100 houses had been damaged, with 50 destroyed on Tonga’s main island of Tongatapu.
Around two centimetres of ash and dust had fallen on Tongatapu, it said on Twitter, “raising concerns of air pollution and potential contamination of food & water supplies.”
“The gov’t has advised the public to remain indoors, use masks if going out & to drink bottled water due to the ashfall”, the WHO tweeted.
Satellite images released by Maxar Technologies on Tuesday showed that where most of the volcanic structure stood above sea level a few days ago, there is now just open sea.
Only two relatively small volcanic islands were still visible above sea level after the eruption.
- ‘Distress beacon’ -
New Zealand released aerial images taken from a surveillance flight the previous day, revealing a tree-lined coast transformed from green to grey by the volcanic fallout.
Wrecked buildings were visible on the foreshore alongside others that appeared intact.
Volcanic ash blanketed island fields, images from an Australian Defence Force P-8A Poseidon patrol aircraft showed.
Shipping containers had been knocked over like dominoes at a port on the main island.
Australia’s HMAS Adelaide and New Zealand’s HMNZS Wellington and HMNZS Aotearoa were ordered to be ready for a possible aid request from Tonga, which lies three-five days’ sailing away.
The Red Cross said it was sending 2,516 water containers.

France, which has territories in the South Pacific, pledged to help the people of Tonga’s “most urgent needs”.
The UN said a signal had been detected from a distress beacon on a low-lying island, Mango.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said surveillance flights had confirmed “substantial property damage” on Mango, home to some 30 people, and another island, Fonoi.
- ‘Cling on to a tree’ -
Images released by the United Nations Satellite Centre showed the impact of the disaster on the island of Nomuka, one of the closest to the Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Ha’apai volcano.
The satellite centre said, of 104 structures analysed in the cloud-free area, 41 structures were damaged.
Tonga’s airport was working to remove volcanic ash from the capital’s runway. Australia said the ash must be cleared before it can land a C-130 military plane with aid.

One of the two confirmed dead was Angela Glover, a 50-year-old who ran a stray animals charity and was reported missing by her husband after the tsunami hit.
“Earlier today my family was sadly informed that the body of my sister Angela has been found,” her brother Nick Eleini said after being given the news by the husband, James Glover.
“James was able to cling on to a tree for quite a long time, but Angela was unable to do so and was washed away with the dogs,” he told The Guardian newspaper.
No details were released about the other death.
-‘Cable has been cut’ -
Even when relief efforts get under way, they may be complicated by Covid-19 entry restrictions.
Saturday’s eruption – one of the largest in decades – was recorded around the world and heard as far away as Alaska, triggering a tsunami that flooded Pacific coastlines from Japan to the United States.
In Peru, authorities sealed off three beaches Monday after they were hit by an oil spill blamed on freak waves caused by the eruption.
The blast severed an undersea communications cable between Tonga and Fiji that operators said would take up to two weeks to repair.
“We’re getting sketchy information, but it looks like the cable has been cut,” Southern Cross Cable Network’s networks director Dean Veverka told AFP.

New York (AFP) - Microsoft announced Tuesday a $69 billion deal to purchase US gaming giant Activision Blizzard, the firm behind hits like “Call of Duty” that has been hit by allegations of sex discrimination against women.
“This acquisition will accelerate the growth in Microsoft’s gaming business across mobile, PC, console and cloud and will provide building blocks for the metaverse,” Microsoft said in a statement.
Activision, the California-based maker of “Candy Crush” has been hit by employee protests, departures, and a state lawsuit alleging it enabled toxic workplace conditions and sexual harassment against women.

Activision says it fired dozens over harassment allegations

New York (AFP) - The video game giant Activision Blizzard said Monday it has fired nearly 40 employees and disciplined more than 40 others since July as it deals with allegations of sexual harassment and other misconduct.
Over the past seven months the company has received about 700 reports of employee concerns over sexual assault or harassment or other misconduct, in some cases separate reports about the same incident, The Wall Street Journal reported.
A summary of the personnel action that the maker of “Call of Duty,” “World of Warcraft” and other blockbuster games has taken was scheduled to be released before the winter holidays, the Journal said.
But CEO Bobby Kotick delayed the release, arguing that it would make the company’s workplace problems look even bigger than they were known to be, the paper added.
Activision denied as “simply inaccurate” the allegation that Kotick held up the report, in a statement prompted by the Journal story.
“An interim update to our employees is still being worked on, and the company remains committed to continuing to provide periodic updates on its progress,” the statement said.
It said the company has completed reviews of 90 percent of the complaints it has received since July – it did not say how many there were – and that “37 employees have exited the company and another 44 received written reprimands, formal warnings or other discipline.”
In July, California state regulators accused the company of condoning a culture of harassment, a toxic work environment, and inequality.
In September the Securities and Exchange Commission launched a probe into the company over “disclosures regarding employment matters and related issues.”
And two months later the Journal reported that Kotick, accused of mishandling the harassment complaints, had signaled he would consider stepping down if he failed to quicky fix the company culture. He has led the company for more than three decades.

The Journal said the company is under pressure from shareholders and business partners for more accountability over its handling of misconduct issues.
Late last year chief operating officer Daniel Alegre pledged a 50 percent increase in female and non-binary staff over the next five years so that they will account for more than a third of Activision’s workers.
